The Niue Waste Management Project under PMCU provided support to the Niue Primary & Niue High School through procuring of hand tools & power tools to assist the Technology block and Handcraft classes. Project Manager Mrs Angela Tuhipa highlighted that this partnership will help engage the students to assist the project on some activities before the opening of the Resource Recycling Center in the coming months. These activities will involve using the tools provided to build signage from recycled materials that will be placed at the Recycling Center. We hope to inspire students to be creative in the technology & handcraft subjects, and utilize the tools provided to gain new skills that will benefit them in the long run.
